Pan Haitao, a 43-year-old Jilin resident, performed single-bamboo drifting on the Songhua River on Thursday as Jilin City in northeast China's Jilin Province welcomes the breathtaking view of rime along the river.
The performer, dressed in red, formed a vivid contrast with the crystal-clear icicles hanging on trees.
Single-bamboo drifting, also known as Duzhu drifting, originated in southwest China's Guizhou Province and requires a person to stand or sit on a single piece of bamboo while performing balancing movements.
