Spectacular camel races in N China's Inner Mongolia

The 14th Camel Cultural Festival kicked off on Tuesday on snow-covered grasslands in the　Sonid　Right Banner, Xilingol League, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.　

The event included a 15km race for adult camels and a 7 m race for two-year-old camels.　　

When the races began, jockeys dressed in Mongolian costumes urged their camels forward with whips to the cheers and screams of the crowd.
