A hovercraft travels on frozen ice of NE China's Songhua River

A hovercraft carrying tourists traveled on frozen ice at Harbin Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province on Tuesday.　

Visitors had the fun of ice drifting on the Songhua River by hovercraft.　

The hovercraft uses high pressure air to produce air cushion between the bottom of the ship and the ice surface, and can reach a maximum speed of 65　kilometers per hour on the ice.
