On Monday, an express delivery parcel was sent from Yiwu, east China's Zhejiang Province to Osaka, marking the city's annual express parcel volume for the first time exceeding 10 billion, according to the State Post Bureau.
Yiwu City, known as the world's capital of small commodities, is a global shopping and selling hub. In 2012, Yiwu handled one billion express delivery parcels. In 2023, Yiwu has logged more than 10 billion parcels, making it China's second-largest express delivery hub city after Guangzhou.
