The Qinghai Lake, China's largest inland salt lake, in Gonghe County of Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Qinghai Province, has recently entered a "frozen period."
The gem-like Qinghai Lake, known as the "sapphire on the plateau," froze gradually from the shore to the center of the lake.
Ice floated on the surface of Qinghai Lake, like broken crystals, painting a unique landscape in winter.
