Tourism goes viral in Mangya, China's loneliest city

Mangya, a city in northwest China's Qinghai Province, is an important location along the ancient Silk Road.

There is no city within 200 kilometers of Mangya. The closest is Dunhuang in Gansu Province, which is nearly 400 kilometers away, so Mangya is also known as "China's loneliest city." 　

Since this summer began, Qinghai tourism has entered its peak season, and many tourists from all over the country are choosing Qinghai as one of their destinations.

Mangya is located on the main roads to Gansu, Tibet and Xinjiang. It has many tourist attractions, including Aiken Lake and Emerald Lake. It has become an essential stop on tourist lines.
