Professional titles conferred to agricultural workers in N China

Shijiazhuang, the capital city of Hebei Province, issued an implementation plan to confer professional titles on farmers. The city asked local growers, breeders, and other farming talents to apply for professional qualifications, with junior and senior professional titles bestowed.

Yu Jiang, head of a rural cooperative in Luquan District in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, was one of the recipients of junior technical positions.

Professional titles are commonly used to determine college-educated or systematically trained staff members, but farmer-related titles are relatively new.
