Wild apricot blossoms in full bloom on rolling hills in Xinjiang

(ECNS) -- Wild apricot blossoms are in full bloom along the rolling hills in Gongliu County, Ili, Xinjiang Uyghur Autornomous Region, creating a picture of spring fairyland.

Wild apricot trees here mainly grow in the lower mountain belt with an altitude of 950 to 1,400 meters. They grow well due to the warm climate of temperature inversion in winter.

The apricot trees begin to bloom in April each year.
