Master jade carver creates charming Olympic seals

(ECNS) -- The charm of jade carving is vividly shown in the tiny square seal by jade-carving master Zhang Tiecheng.

The Olympic Seals, designed and made by Master Zhang, became the carrier of the official emblem of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games in 2003 and were sold out shortly after release.

Years later, Zhang designed and made the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics Seal.

In 2019, the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics Seals were sold out again.

Zhang said Olympic jade products are super rare around the world, adding the phenomenal sales also prove the unique charm of Chinese culture.

Zhang expressed his willingness to bring intangible cultural heritages to life after his life became intertwined with the Olympics more than a decade ago.
