Over 10,000 Mongolian gazelle spotted in N China's Xilingol

(ECNS)-- Around 10,000 wild Mongolian gazelle have been spotted recently in Xilingol League, north China's Inner Mongolia. Mongolian gazelle is under second-class national protection in China.

In recent years, local officials and herdsmen have strengthened efforts in ecological environment restoration and wildlife protection. They have been putting feed in places where wild animals often rest.

Argali, wild ass, goitered gazelle have been spotted on the grassland as well. The numerous wild animals here are evidence of the improved ecological environment.
