(ECNS) -- Stomps, kicks, turns... Zhao Ping, a 74-year-old tap dance lover practices these basic steps with extreme dexterity. As the oldest tap dance student in Jilin University for the Elderly, she thinks dancing recovers her youthful vigor.
Standing out with her silver hair, Zhao has been learning tap dance for more than 10 years without missing even one lesson. She follows the teacher in class and practices on her own at home.
Even though she is the oldest student, she is a quick learner and dances lightly with great energy.
As a senior member of the team, she has participated in competitions in Shandong, Shaanxi and other provinces with her teammates.
In one month, the class will be over for the vacation and Zhao will stop taking lessons due to her age. But she is determined to continue studying on her own and spread the charm of tap dance.
