China to launch its first cargo spacecraft Tianzhou-1 on April 20

China will launch its first cargo spacecraft, Tianzhou-1, at 7:41 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 20, according to the office of China's manned space program.

The spacecraft will be launched from the Wenchang Space Launch Center in south China's Hainan Province and it is expected to dock with the orbiting Tiangong-2 space lab and conduct in-orbit refueling.
