Premier Li's visit to boost overall cooperation

On Monday, Premier Li attended the 21st China-Russia Prime Ministers' regular meeting in St. Petersburg, where he met with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev. The two officials discussed trade, economic and energy issues, as well as regional and border cooperation.

The Chinese Premier arrived in St. Petersburg on Sunday. Later during his visit, Li is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Russian capital of Moscow. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Russia strategic partnership of coordination.
