The timing of Pokemon Go's entrance into the Chinese market is quite ironic as regulators of the country's own mobile gaming industry tighten regulations for developers.
Now, all games, no matter where they are developed, are required to obtain government approval before entering or remaining in the market. The concern here is this will be a hindrance for domestic developers and resulting small companies being washed out of the market.
