Minister of Transport Yang Chuantang has sent a clear message on mobile apps such as Uber and Didi Taxi. These apps become highly controversial for their involvement of private automobiles in the taxi market. Yang says he himself is actually using these apps, and that while it is still not legal for private cars to run as taxis, he believes it is also not wise to ban these apps as a solution.
