Codes tightened after quake in Taiwan

The recent earthquake in Taiwan may have taken 116 lives, but all but two of those died in the collapse of a single building - the Weiguan Golden Dragon complex.

It was a far cry for the catastrophic quake that killed 2,500 people across the island in 2002. That quake prompted authorities to tighten up regulations for new buildings, but the latest quake has exposed cracks in the system.
