China is bracing for a week-long low temperatures. School classes have been suspended and emergency workers have been put on stand-by. China's meteorological agency forecast freezing weather with -40 degrees Celsius cities such as Shanghai and Changsha. Cold air's moving south, battering north China and will bring heavy snow to regions along the Yangtz. The extremely low temperature has frozen the waves and continuing snowfall has given problems to traffics.
