Survivor pulled out from Shenzhen landslide after being trapped for 67 hours

According to the president of Guangming New District Central Hospital, where the survivor is staying, he has received a surgical cleaning, and medical experts are doing their best to save his foot, after one of his ankles was stuck in the debris.

"The patient was sent to our hospital at 6:53 this morning. He was very weak , and is severely dehydrated. He is suffering from multiple injuries, with many soft-tissue injuries. His right lower-limb has been severely injured with skin necrosis. A group of experts is conducting consultations," said Wang Guangming, president of Guangming New District Central Hospital.

Rescuers and armed police identified the exact location of Tian at 1 a.m. on Wednesday, in a collapsed factory building, and found him at 3:30 a.m. Firefighters had to squeeze into the narrow room around Tian, before removing the debris by hands. Before he was pulled out, Tian had been given oxygen and received intravenous infusion.
