Tibet commemorated the 20th anniversary of the enthronement of the 11th Panchen Lama on Tuesday.
Sitting at the center of Tashilhunpo Monastery in Xigaze,Bainqen Erdini Qoigyijabu, the 11th Panchen Lama, was greeted by some 1,500 local monks and Tibetan resident, many travel thousands of miles just to witness the ceremony.
The 11th Panchen Lama is one of the two most revered "living Buddhas" in Tibetan Buddhism.
