Economic ties are expected to dominate talks between President Xi and his Zimbabwean counterpart Robert Mugabe.
Last year, the two countries have inked a series of deals during President Mugabe's visit to China, covering infrastructure development, energy and power generation,water reticulation and agriculture.
The reciprocal visits are expected to consolidate the multi-billion-dollar deals and set them in motion.
