Northern China is bracing itself for a chilling week, with tempratures plunged to near record lows for November.
The temperatures in Beijing are expected to drop about to minus 12 degrees Celsius between Thursday night and Friday morning, after snow blanketed the city over the weekend, which caused cancelation of hundreds of flight at Beijing International Airport.
Brutal cold will also plunge into China's central and eastern regions later this week.
