What China policies are American media watching?

American media are paying attention as China's National People's Congress session started and new plans for the new year unfold.

Most of the world predict a slowdown of economy and a number of news outlets focus on the growth target of 7%.

There's also a focus on China's military spending, environmental regulations and birth policy.
