The Middle East Rail event is drawing global attention, as the futuristic high-speed transportation company Hyperloop One competes to have the world's first operational hyperloop system in Dubai.

The system includes a mode of transportation that will move passengers and cargo through tubes. The highest speed of the new system is estimated to reach 12,000 kilometers per hour.

Hyperloop One CEO Rob Lloyd says his company has proposed to hire 250 additional local staff members by the end of 2017. He also said public hyperloop trials would be conducted in a few months.
