Millions of people have turned the internet black to observe a social media Blackout Tuesday to show solidarity with the George Floyd protests.
Celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and LeBron James also joined in the outpouring of support by posting a plain black square on their Twitter or Instagram pages.
