China Air Transport Association (CATA) announced that it will support Chinese airlines to seek compensation for Boeing 737 Max suspension, in a press conference held in Beijing on Friday.
This comes after 13 major Chinese airlines announced such intention for the 96 Boeing 737 Max airliners grounded since March 11. According to CATA, the estimated loss from Chinese airlines is reaching four billion yuan (579 million U.S. dollars).
