Ten people have been confirmed dead and eight others remain missing after a boat carrying 29 passengers capsized in Zhenfeng County, southwest China's Guizhou Province, on Thursday, local authorities said.
Search operations are currently underway; 11 people have been rescued so far.
The vessel capsized at around 6:30 p.m. BJT Thursday on the Beipan River.
