A white-collar woman, who realized her dream of breeding a giant panda after 20 applications, chose to visit South Korea for her honeymoon so that she could see the panda she bred, the Chengdu Economic Daily reported on Monday.

Yu Lang, from Nanjing in East China's Jiangsu Province, got married with a man who bred giant panda in May 2018, and booked a flight in late September to Seoul to see the panda, Yuanxin, she had bred.

In 2010, Yu fell in love with the giant panda and wished to become a professional breeder, when she worked as a volunteer in a zoo. After sending many resumes to the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda in 2011 and visiting the center's base in Southwest China's Sichuan Province, Yu managed to become a breeder in April 2013.

Yuanxin was one of the first pandas she bred and the one she loved most. Although Yuanxin was transported to another breeding center half a year later, Yu always visited Yuanxin at Dujiangyan, which is about 120 kilometers away from her work place.

Yuanxin was sent to South Korea in March 2016. After waiting for eight hours in the zoo, Yu finally had a chance to see Yuanxin.
