Students flying to their hometown in South China after the seven-day National Day holiday were seen rushing to finish their homework.
On a flight from Turpan, Northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region to the city of Guangzhou, almost all the school-age children were seen catching up on a backlog of homework, a passenger surnamed Hu told the Guangzhou Daily.
Impressed by the sight, Hu took five pictures of them, one of which features a boy with a sour look on his face. Hu said she was not looking forward to going back to work after the holiday but was instantly empowered after watching the children doing homework.
Over 782 million domestic tourist trips were taken during the seven-day National Day.
