China urges U.S. to stop using so-called 'China threat' as pretext to seek selfish gains

(ECNS) -- China urges the U.S. to stop using the so-called "China threat" as a pretext for itself to seek selfish gains, said Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian Monday.

Lin made the remarks when asked about U.S. President Donald Trump's statement that the U.S. needs Greenland, and one of the reasons he gave was that it is "covered with Chinese ships."
