(ECNS) -- Thailand repatriated 40 Chinese nationals involved in illegal immigration on Thursday, according the Ministry of Public Security of China.
The joint operation was conducted in accordance with domestic laws, international regulations and practices to combat cross-border crime. The legal rights of the repatriated individuals have been fully guaranteed throughout the process.
Illegal immigration and human trafficking are internationally recognized crimes that seriously disrupt the normal order of immigration and border control.
The Chinese police will deepen cooperation with more countries to address the challenges posed by illegal immigration and other cross-border crimes and ensure the safe and orderly cross-border activities.
