China-Myanmar border port optimizes pandemic control measures

(ECNS) -- Ruili, China's border port with Myanmar, optimized pandemic prevention and control measures for Nongdao Passage and Leiyun Passage on Wednesday, according to the latest notice published by the local municipal government.

On the premise of national pandemic prevention and control policies, passage management and control will be implemented in accordance with provisions set before the pandemic.

Cross-border vehicle substitute driving has been canceled, and drivers engaged in cross-border transportation need to hold legal and valid documents, according to the notice.

Ruili is in the southwest of China, a border city with Myanmar. Ruili Port is one of the first categories of ports in China to open to the world, and is also the largest port for China's trade in Myanmar.
