Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection (CHP) reported 73 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Monday, taking its total tally to 10,158.
The new cases included 69 local infections, of which 38 had an unknown origin, according to a CHP press briefing. The four imported cases were from Belarus, Pakistan, India and the Philippines.
According to Hong Kong's Hospital Authority, 828 COVID-19 patients are currently being treated in public hospitals and the community treatment facility at AsiaWorld-Expo, and 35 patients are in critical condition.
So far, 166 COVID-19 patients have died in public hospitals.
