The Figure skating Canadian Grand Prix has been canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic, local media reported on Wednesday.
The event was slated for October 30 to November 1 in Ottawa but the International Skating Union said the competition is "no longer viable".
The US Grand Prix will kick off the season from October 23-25 in Las Vegas without spectators. With the Canadian event canceled, the US stop will be followed by the Chinese Grand Prix to be held in southwest China's Chongqing.
