China's manufacturing PMI falls in April

The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for China's manufacturing sector eased to 50.8 in April from 52 in March, the National Bureau of Statistics said Thursday.

A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below reflects contraction.

A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below it reflects contraction.
