The federation of trade unions of coronavirus-hit Hubei Province has invested capital and materials worth about 210 million yuan (29.9 million U.S. dollars) to care for workers fighting the epidemic on the frontlines.
According to the union, the monetary and material care has covered a total of 192,000 workers, including 130,000 medics, across the province so far.
More capital and materials will be raised to cover more people, including those in supporting positions and medical assistance teams from other provinces, said a manager with the union.
