Hong Kong action thriller "P Storm" was the highest grossing film on the Chinese mainland market on Monday, according to China Movie Data Information Network.
The 4th installment of the Storm franchise grossed over 36.1 million yuan (about 5.38 million U.S. dollars).
It was followed by DC superhero film "Shazam!," which took in 11.06 million yuan.
Coming in third was "Andhadhun," an Indian black comedy, which earned over 9.78 million yuan.
