Chinese Armed Police Force delegation visits Cambodia

Tea Banh, deputy prime minister and defense minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, met with Yu Jianwei, deputy political commissar of the Chinese Armed Police Force (APF), in Phnom Penh on Monday. The two sides exchanged views on issues of enhancing communication and cooperation between the Cambodian military police forces and the Chinese APF.

Yu Jianwei said that both the Chinese APF and the Cambodian military police forces are responsible for safeguarding national security and social stability, as well as protecting people's lives and property. He also believed that this visit would further enhance the communication and cooperation between the two sides.

Tea Banh said that the Chinese APF is competent and experienced in safeguarding domestic security, and through this visit, the Cambodian military police forces and the Chinese APF could exchange experience on safeguarding national security and social stability as well as other important issues, and promote cooperation.

The Chinese APF delegation led by Yu Jianwei arrived in Phnom Penh on April 27. During the visit, the delegation held talks with the Cambodian military police forces, and visited Cambodian special armed forces training center.
