China and Russia will hold the eighth round of the China-Russia strategic security consultation in China from Jan. 8 to 9, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said Monday.
Hong said Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev will attend the meeting at the invitation of Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo.
