The ten-day-long "Condor 2012" joint anti-terrorism training of the Chinese and Belarus airborne troops was successfully wrapped up on December 5, 2012 at a comprehensive airborne training base in the north of south China's Hubei province.

The joint training covered 30 subjects in 8 categories, realized taking-off done by five types of aircraft from different airports, deployed six types of special combat vehicles for the first time, and simultaneously carried out parachuting at high altitude from transport aircraft, landing by parachute and rope at low altitude from helicopters under cold and foggy conditions, further exploring the new ways for airborne training.

According to Yang Jie, commander of the Chinese side in joint training, this is the first time for the Chinese airborne troops to take part in a joint training with so many subjects, such great difficulties and high risks. The ten-day-long training has accumulated experience for improving the capabilities of the airborne forces of the two countries to implement the diversified military missions.
