November 11 of 2012 marks the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). More than 120 representatives from 18 countries including Australia, Germany and Pakistan gathered in Zhuhai in south China's Guangdong province to participate in an international exchange activity of military flight training and share the achievements in the reform of military flight training of various countries worldwide. The exchange activity was jointly hosted by the PLA Air Force and the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).

The first international exchange activity of military flight training was successfully held in 2010 in Zhuhai, serving as an international platform for air forces of various countries to strengthen exchanges, enhance mutual understanding, deepen friendship and promote cooperation.

Focusing on the theme of "Talent, Reform and Development", representatives in the international exchange activity of military flight training discussed how to improve the effectiveness of flight training and the quality of personnel training from such aspects as military flight education and training system reform, mechanism innovation and development of aviation training equipment.

The PLA Air Force will continue to uphold the concept of peace, development and cooperation to actively carry out multi-level, wide-range and deep-connotation exchanges and cooperation with air forces of various countries in a more open, transparent and pragmatic manner, according to department concerned of the PLA Air Force.
