The "August 1" Aerobatics Team under the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) conducted their last joint training before the 9th Zhuhai Air Show in China at an airfield in Northern China on November 1, 2012. The team will fly to Zhuhai in several days to perform a "Ballet in the Sky" for audiences and media from home and abroad.

According to the briefing, the PLA Air Force will once again host the Zhuhai Air Show in China on November 13, 2012. Ii is said that the new generation of Chinese home-made elite warplanes including J-10 fighter, J-8DF fighter, JH-7A bomber, H-6H bomber, KJ-200 early warning aircraft, Z-8KA transport helicopter and Z-9WA gunship will make a collective debut during the air show on an unprecedented scale, so as to showcase the development of the PLA Air Force in an all-round way.

The biennial Zhuhai Air Show in China, first held in 1996, has been successfully held for 8 times with participating countries expanding from 20-odd to nearly 40, and with participating exhibiters increasing from 400-odd to more than 600, which makes it one of the top five air shows in the world.
