The "Zheng He" oceangoing training ship of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) wrapped up its two-day-long rest and replenishment at the Djibouti Port of the Republic of Djibouti on May 22, 2012 and left the Djibouti Port at 10:00, local time, to embark on the voyage of its goodwill visit to Italy.

The staff of the Chinese Embassy in Djibouti and personnel from the Chinese-funded institutions saw the ship off at the port.

Djibouti is the fourth stop of the "Zheng He" ship's global-voyage visit. It is the ship's first berth since its departure from northeast China's Dalian on April 16, 2012. According to the plan, the "Zheng He" ship will visit Taranto of Italy for its next stop.
