Why did Chinese vice foreign minister Hua Chunying praise this fruit?

During China’s 2026 "two sessions" political meetings, a Guangdong deputy to the National People's Congress introduced a local specialty called Huajuhong, or pomelo peel, to Vice Foreign Minister Hua Chunying.  

Hua ate two pieces of Huajuhong lozenges in a row and spoke highly of them. Why?
