Nio opens smart driving technology center in Germany

The Shanghai-based EV manufacturer Nio inaugurated Monday its smart driving technology center in Schoenefeld near Berlin, Germany. It is Nio's first technology center outside of China. 

According to reports, in the upcoming new season of Formula Student Germany, Nio's super-sensing system integrated with laser radar techniques will show its unique functions on multiple tracks. In conjunction with the opening of the smart driving technology center, Nio also reached a cooperation agreement with Seyond and the Deggendorf Institute of Technology to jointly support the Fast Forest team to participate in the 2024 Formula Student Germany. 

On the launch day, media reporters from around the world also experienced Nio's Adam supercomputing platform and Aquila Super Sensing system on the test track and felt how these technologies significantly improved the comfort and safety of driving.
