Outbound tourism thriving between China and Laos

Located on the border between China and Laos, Mohan Port in southwest China's Yunnan Province ushered in the peak of outbound tours. 

Since March, the port has handled more than 600 groups of outbound tours, a total of more than 9,100 passengers each day, an increase of 1.8 times and 2.1 times, respectively, compared with the previous year.  

Since the beginning of this year, the number of inbound and outbound tourists at Mohan Port has increased significantly. As of March 26, the total number of passengers at Mohan Border Port this year reached more than 640,000, doubling the year-on-year growth, and more than 140,000 vehicles have been handled, up about 30 percent year-on-year.
