Traditional folk sport goat-grabbing in NW China's Xinjiang

A goat-grabbing competition was held in Wushi County, Aksu, northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. 　

Goat-grabbing game is a traditional folk sport widely practiced in Xinjiang. Riders attempt to grab a processed goatskin while riding horses in this game. 　

In 2008, the game was recognized and included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage.
