Thrilling off-road vehicle race held in NW China's Xinjiang

An off-road vehicle race started on Saturday, with many Chinese drivers competing in Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. 　

The first day's route stretched about 6 kilometers in a desert. The drivers had experienced its geographical diversity and picturesque landscapes. 　

"My first visit to Xinjiang coincided with this off-road vehicle race. I got to explore the vastness of the desert, which I had never seen before in Guangdong Province, China. The race was very exciting,"　a tourist told China News Service on Saturday.
