Sweet-toothed visitors have been treated with sugar-coated hawthorn in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. 　

Candied hawthorn is a traditional Chinese sweet snack of hawthorn and other fruits covered in hard candy on bamboo skewers. It is a kind of beloved street food in　northern China. This year's version includes fresh fruits, crabs, and even spicy gluten enrobed in glossy sugar syrup.
