Malaysian Chinese host lantern show to welcome Year of the Rabbit

A lighting ceremony was hosted by Malaysian Chinese to welcome Chinese New Year, the "Year of the Rabbit", on Monday in Malacca, Malaysia.

The lantern show started with a lion dance.

Malaysian Chinese lit up their mobile phones and sang the classic Malaysian Chinese song "Passing the Lantern" together.
