Rare babe monkey makes debut in Guangzhou

(ECNS) -- A five-month-old babe black bearded saki born in Chimelong Safari Park made its debut on Thursday.

The babe monkey, called Congcong, now weighs about 462 gram, and is fed with specially-made milk, fruit and vegetables.

The black bearded saki has been classified as Critically Endangered (CR) in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species since 2008.
